Your Right to Delete
At bTreend, we respect your right to control your data. If you wish to delete your account and associated data, we provide multiple ways to do so. Please note that account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
Option 1 — Delete In-App
The easiest way to delete your account is directly through the bTreend app:
Navigate to the Menu tab and select "Settings".
Scroll down to find the "Delete Account" option.
Follow the prompts to permanently delete your account.
Option 2 — Email Request
If you're unable to access the app, you can request account deletion via email:
Email us at support@btreend.org with the subject "Account Deletion Request".
Include your username and the email address associated with your account.
We'll verify your identity and process your request within 30 days.
What Gets Deleted
Permanently Deleted
- Your profile information (name, username, profile picture)
- All posts, comments, and content you've created
- Your messages and conversations
- Your activity history and preferences
Temporarily Retained
- Information required for legal compliance (up to 90 days)
- Anonymized analytics data that cannot be linked back to you
- Content others have shared that includes your interactions
After the retention period (typically 90 days), all remaining personal data is permanently deleted.
